Grievance redressal

How to flag content, report abuse, or raise a legal grievance with the Cockroach Janta Party platform. We are committed to the timelines below and publish a monthly compliance report.

All three officers are Indian residents, as required by Rule 4(1)(a)–(c) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

How to file a grievance

  1. Send a complete email to grievance@cockrochjanataparty.com.
  2. Include: (a) your name and contact details, (b) the URL or in-app share-ID of the content, (c) the nature of the grievance, (d) why you believe it violates law or the platform's content policy.
  3. For impersonation, also attach proof of identity of the person being impersonated.
  4. You will receive a ticket number within 24 hours and resolution within 15 days. If a takedown is warranted under categories with a shorter SLA (impersonation, non-consensual intimate content, etc.), the shorter SLA applies.

Appeals

If you are dissatisfied with the Grievance Officer's decision, you may appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee constituted under Rule 3A of the IT Rules 2021. The GAC is reachable at gac.gov.in.

Transparency

We publish a monthly compliance report disclosing the number of complaints received, actions taken, and proactive removals. See /compliance.
